Europe

As GA worked with portfolio companies to expand internationally in the 1980s, we spent significant time in the UK and continental Europe understanding the specific markets and identifying excellent growth companies. Our global focus not only has provided us with excellent investments, it has allowed us to provide the network and strategic assistance with international expansion that is so valuable to our portfolio companies. We opened our office in London in 1999 and expanded our presence in Europe in 2000 with an office in Düsseldorf.

Since our first investment in the Europe in 1988, GA has invested more than $2.3 billion in over thirty companies in Europe.
