AKQA Acquires Global Search Firm SearchRev
Acquisition Strengthens Agency’s World-Class Digital Marketing Services
SAN FRANCISCO, CA--AKQA announced today that it has acquired SearchRev, a leading developer of search engine marketing (SEM) technologies. SearchRev manages large scale search engine marketing campaigns for major clients such as Yahoo!, Shutterily and Coca-Cola. Headquartered in Silicon Valley, SearchRev has offices throughout the United States, Central America and the United Kingdom. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
SearchRev will continue to operate as a stand-alone unit, providing professional services and technology licenses to both advertisers and agencies. SearchRev co-founders, COO David Kandasamy and CR0 Eduardo Llach, will continue to lead the company.
