Jon Miller and Ross Levinsohn to Serve as Advisors to General Atlantic's Media and Consumer Sector

GREENWICH, CT--General Atlantic LLC (GA), a leading global growth equity firm, today announced that Jonathan Miller, former Chairman and CEO of America Online (AOL), and Ross Levinsohn, former President of Fox Interactive Media (FIM) at News Corp., have become advisors to the firm's Media & Consumer sector.

GA has a long history of identifying, investing in and supporting growth companies in the digital media and consumer sector. The firm has invested $1.3 billion in more than 20 companies in the sector since 1995. Its current investments include such leading companies as AKQA, Dice, Network Solutions and NDTV.

Mr. Miller and Mr. Levinsohn are among the media industry's most visionary and experienced executives. As head of AOL, Mr. Miller was responsible for both setting the company's strategy and overseeing its businesses and operations. During Mr. Levinsohn's tenure at Fox Interactive Media, FIM acquired Intermix, the parent company of MySpace.com; Scout.com, a leading online sports network; and IGN.com, a leading videogame and entertainment site, among other properties.
