Jing Hong is a Managing Director at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm, where she has worked since 2008. Ms. Hong is based in General Atlantic's Beijing office and is leading the firm's efforts on the Emerging Market Consumer sector.

Prior to joining GA, Ms. Hong worked at Warburg Pincus and San Shan Capital Partners, focusing on growth investments in consumer goods, retail, real estate, and energy sectors. Previously, she was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company where she served a number of Chinese and multinational companies in a variety of areas, including consumer goods and retail, telecom and media services, logistics, and financial services.

Ms. Hong received a B.S in Finance and a Masters in Management Engineering from Tsinghua University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
