Amit Soni is a Vice President at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm, where he focuses on investments globally. He currently works in General Atlantic’s Mumbai office.

Prior to joining General Atlantic, Amit worked at 3i Plc, a leading Europe based private equity firm, in their India office. While at 3i Plc, he worked on investments in Automotive, Media and Oil & Gas sector. In addition, Amit worked at McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm, advising clients in IT Services, Financial Services, and Pharmaceutical space. Amit also worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in setting up the largest HIV/AIDS prevention program in India.

Amit holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor in Technology in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
