Mauro Bonugli is a Vice President at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm. He is a member of GA’s Resources Group which focuses on maximizing growth initiatives and business improvement opportunities in GA portfolio companies. Mauro focuses on information and technology strategy with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, efficiency, governance and financial management. As a native of Brazil, Mauro has specific expertise and interest in working with companies in Latin America. Moreover, he participates in the assessment of technological risks and opportunities of new investments during the due diligence process.

Prior to joining General Atlantic, Mauro worked at Credit Suisse for over 4 years where he led the Investment Banking Information Technology budgeting, planning and project/portfolio management processes in the Office of the CIO. Prior to that, he worked at Business Objects, a business intelligence software company, for over 2 years where he led the company's expansion into Latin America by providing clients with customized solutions and set up an India-based support center to assist clients worldwide. In Brazil, he worked at Motorola for almost 3 years evaluating and implementing new software to improve productivity and performance.

Mauro holds a BS in Software Engineering from Universidade Sao Francisco in Brazil and an MBA from Fordham University Graduate School of Business.

He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
