John Jureller is a Senior Vice President at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm. He is a member of GA's Resources Group which focuses on maximizing growth initiatives and business improvement opportunities in GA portfolio companies. John works closely with executive teams and chief financial officers on financial issues including risk management, capital markets and corporate finance offering operational support and best practices implementation assistance.  Where needed, John provides overall guidance, coordination and implementation of restructuring and performance improvement initiatives.  He also works with GA's investment teams in prospect evaluation. John is based in New York.

John has extensive global financial and operational experience, having held roles in corporate development, corporate finance, turnaround consulting and finance including serving as a Chief Financial Officer. He brings broad industry experience including financial services, business services, manufacturing, consulting and construction. Prior to joining General Atlantic, John was the CFO for WestPoint International, a global manufacturer and marketer of home textile products. Previously, he was a Director in the turnaround & restructuring practice at AlixPartners, and prior to that was Chief Financial Officer at Trans-Resources, Inc. His career includes executive roles with GE Capital, Emcor, PepsiCo International, where he served as finance director for Pepsi World Trading, Caribiner International and Gartner. John began his career in the corporate and leveraged finance business at Bankers Trust Company.

John is a graduate of Cornell University where he received his B.S. degree in 1981 and an MBA in Finance in 1982.
