Peter Munzig is a Vice President at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm, where he focuses on investments in the Internet & Technology and Business Services sectors.  He is based out of General Atlantic's Palo Alto office.

Mr. Munzig returned to General Atlantic in 2009 after having left in 2007 to obtain his M.B.A. at Stanford's Graduate School of Business.  During the summer of 2008 he worked in the UK with one of General Atlantic's portfolio companies, Torex, on a range of strategic and operational initiatives. 

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Munzig served in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he focused on advising clients in the Industrial, Consumer, and Technology sectors on a wide range of M&A and corporate finance transactions.  

Mr. Munzig holds an M.B.A. from Stanford's Graduate School of business and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University, where he graduated with honors in 2003.
