John Arlotta is a Special Advisor at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm, where he focuses on activities in the Healthcare sector.

Before joining GA in 2010, Mr. Arlotta served as Chairman, President and CEO of Denver based Coram Inc, a privately held provider of home infusion and specialty pharmacy services with $500 million in revenues. The company merged with Apria Healthcare in December, 2008. Prior to Coram, he served as Chairman and CEO of NeighborCare Inc., a Baltimore based public company (NASDAQ:NCRX) with annual revenues of $1.6 billion. NeighborCare was in the business of providing pharmaceutical products and services to nursing homes. He joined NeighborCare in July, 2003 and took the company public in December of that year. Mr. Arlotta has also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Caremark Rx, a Pharmacy Benefit Manager and Specialty Biotech Drug Distributor. He started his career at Baxter International where he held various sales and marketing positions before becoming President of the Travacare Division, one of the nation's first Home IV Therapy businesses.

Mr. Arlotta currently serves as the Executive Chairman of Novis Pharmaceuticals. He is also the owner of the Minnesota Swarm Professional Lacrosse Club and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the National Lacrosse.   

Mr. Arlotta is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and is a retired U.S. Army Reserve Captain.
