David Buckley is a Vice President at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm. He is a member of GA's Resources Group which focuses on maximizing value creation opportunities in GA portfolio companies.  David works closely with executive teams to drive growth through cross-functional business process improvements.  He also works with GA's investment teams in prospect evaluation.  David is based in Greenwich.

Prior to joining General Atlantic, David was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where he advised a range of leading High Tech, Industrial, and Private Equity clients on strategic and operational issues.  Previously, he served as a Captain in the United States Army with more than 8 years on active duty in Airborne and Special Operations units.

David holds a BA in Political Science and History from the University of Notre Dame, studied in Poland as a Fulbright Scholar, and received an MPP from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
