Pat Hedley is a Managing Director at General Atlantic, having joined the firm in 1987 as an investment professional. She currently leads GA's human capital effort and manages the firm's global marketing and communications activities.

Ms. Hedley assists the firm's global portfolio companies with a broad range of strategic growth initiatives related to talent acquisition and human capital best practices, including executive suite and board development, compensation and equity programs, scaling global organizations, succession planning, and m&a integration.

She also leads GA's global marketing effort and provides counsel to GA's portfolio companies on marketing, branding and communications strategies.

With over two decades of experience in growth equity, Ms. Hedley has expertise across the investment life cycle, from prospect identification and evaluation to value enhancement and exit. Early in her career, she focused on the business services and technology sector and served as a director or observer on private company boards.

Prior to General Atlantic, Ms. Hedley worked at MediVision, a healthcare firm started and funded by Bain Capital. Previously, she had been an Associate Consultant with Bain & Company.

Ms. Hedley holds an AB in Computer Science and Government from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. She is on the board of Reach the World, a non-profit connecting inner-city classrooms with student travelers through technology.
