Rajat Sood is a Vice President at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm, where he focuses on investments in the Financial Services sector. He joined General Atlantic in 2007, and currently works in the firm's New York office.  Before moving to New York in 2009, Rajat worked at General Atlantic's Mumbai office for two years, where he was responsible for opportunities in the financial services, telecom and media sectors.

Prior to GA, Rajat worked at McKinsey & Company Inc., a global management consulting firm, in their India office. While at McKinsey, he worked with clients in the financial services, retail and health insurance sectors on a range of strategic and operational issues.

Rajat is a gold medalist from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta where he did his MBA after graduating from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
