Mike McTighe is a Special Advisor at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm, where he provides strategic counsel to GA and its portfolio companies with a focus on the European region.

Mr. McTighe currently serves as Chairman of the companies Pace plc, Volex Group plc, and WYG plc, and is the senior independent director of Betfair Ltd. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the United Kingdom's Office of Communications, and a senior member of the Turnaround Panel at Lloyds Banking Group. He was recently voted the UK Quoted Companies 2010 Chairman of the Year.

Mr. McTighe previously served as Chairman and CEO of Carrier1 International SA, and before that as Executive Director and Chief Executive, Global Operations of Cable & Wireless. He also spent 10 years with GE and 5 years with Motorola between 1980 and 1995.
