Abhishek Agrawal is a Principal at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm, where he has worked since 2005.  Mr. Agrawal works in General Atlantic's New York City office where he focuses on investments in the Internet & Technology Sector and has been closely involved in most of General Atlantic's internet and digital media investments since he joined.  Mr. Agrawal is a Board Observer at AKQA, Dice Holdings (NYSE: DHX), Gilt Groupe, Peixe Urbano (Brazil) and Red Ventures, and was also on the Board of Directors of Network Solutions (sold to Web.com).  Mr. Agrawal has also been closely involved with General Atlantic's investments in Alibaba Group in China, Facebook and Klarna in Sweden.

Prior to joining General Atlantic, Mr. Agrawal was with Lazard Technology Partners, an internet and technology focused venture capital firm, where he made several investments in the internet, enterprise software and communications space.  Previously, Mr. Agrawal was in Lazard's investment banking group where he provided mergers and acquisitions related financial and strategic advisory services to companies in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors.

Mr. Agrawal received his BS in Economics with concentration in Finance, summa cum laude, from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated valedictorian, and his MBA from Harvard Business School where he graduated with highest distinction and was a Baker Scholar.
