Casey Santos

Chief Information Officer

Casey Santos serves as General Atlantic’s Chief Information Officer. She joined the firm in 2014 and is based in New York.

Ms. Santos joined General Atlantic from McKinsey, where she served as Head of IT for MIO Partners, their private investment group, after working as a strategy consultant in McKinsey’s Business Technology Offices. Ms. Santos began her career at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Mission Control as a propulsion systems engineer, supporting more than 15 Space Shuttle missions including the first Mir/Space Shuttle docking mission and the first Hubble Space Telescope repair mission.

Ms. Santos holds a B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT and both an M.B.A. from the Wharton School and a Masters in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. She serves as a First Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Wall Street Technology Association, is a Development Committee Member for the YMCA of Greater New York, and is a board member of the British American Business. She also volunteers her time to speak with students about pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
