Drew Pearson

Managing Director and Global Head of Portfolio Management

Drew Pearson is a Managing Director and Global Head of Portfolio Management at General Atlantic, based in the firm’s Greenwich office.

Drew joined General Atlantic in 1996 and serves as Chairman of the Portfolio Committee. In this role, he leads GA’s portfolio management process which includes assessing portfolio company performance, executing liquidity transactions, and monitoring risk management. Drew also serves on the firm’s Capital Committee and is actively involved in coordinating the Investment Committee process.

Prior to joining GA, Drew was a Business Analyst with McKinsey & Company, where he worked with Fortune 500 businesses in the technology and financial services industries. He earned a B.A. and an M.A. in regional science from The School of Arts & Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in finance from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
