Jenny Farrelly serves as General Atlantic’s Chief Marketing & Communications Officer. She joined General Atlantic in 2014 and is based in New York.
Ms. Farrelly leads General Atlantic’s Global Marketing & Communications team. In this role, she oversees the firm’s global external relations activities including corporate communications, media relations, corporate marketing, and philanthropy, and also serves as a resource to General Atlantic’s portfolio companies.
Prior to joining General Atlantic, Ms. Farrelly was Vice President of Corporate Marketing & Communications at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Farrelly was a senior member of Edelman’s Corporate & Financial Communications practice where she led a number of alternative asset management accounts. Ms. Farrelly began her career as an equity analyst at Citigroup and Stifel Nicolas.
She received an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth with a focus on finance and corporate communication and a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University in international relations. Ms. Farrelly is an active member of the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association, Financial Communications Society, and New York Women in Communications. She volunteers with Young Women’s Leadership Network and Summer Search.
