Luis Cervantes

Vice President

Luis Cervantes leads General Atlantic’s Mexico City office where he focuses on growth investments in Mexico and across Latin America. Luis is on the board of Clip and Santander Asset Management in Mexico and serves as a board observer to Laboratorios Sanfer.  He was also closely involved with the firm’s investment in Sura Asset Management.

Prior to joining GA, Luis worked for Advent International focusing on investments across all sectors in Latin America. Previously, he was an investment banker at UBS in the Latin American group based in Mexico City.

Luis earned an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, with honors, from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Luis is active with Endeavor Mexico where he is a mentor and is an adjunt professor at Universidad Iberoamericana where he currently co-teaches a course for senior undergraduate students.
