RiskMetrics Group to Unveil New Ticker Symbol on New York Stock Exchange

"RISK" Symbol Reinforces Company Name and Brand

NEW YORK--RiskMetrics Group Inc. (NYSE: RMG), a leading provider of risk management and corporate governance services to the global financial community, today announced that it will change the ticker symbol for its common stock listed on the New York Stock Exchange from "RMG" to "RISK," effective at the start of trading on Friday, January 29, 2010.
