For over 25 years General Atlantic^® has provided equity financing to private and public companies globally. We have invested in over 160 companies and currently have approximately $17 billion in capital under management. Our investments range from $50 million to $500 million in equity for growth, expansions, buy-outs, consolidations and build-ups. We invest in 8-12 companies per year.

An integral part of the GA® strategy is to provide much more than capital to our portfolio companies. We have spent 25 years building the organizational capacity to deliver on our value-added commitments and have a reputation for helping build market leaders. The key to our success is an experienced group of investment professionals who work in teams across sectors and regional offices worldwide.
