Pamela Fang Joins General Atlantic as Managing Director and Head of Asia Capital Partnering

General Atlantic, a leading global growth equity firm, announced today that Pamela Fang has joined General Atlantic as a Managing Director to lead the firm’s Capital Partnering effort in Asia. She will be based in the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Ms. Fang joins General Atlantic from Actis where she was a Director and Head of the firm’s Investor Development Group in Asia, responsible for fundraising and investor relations activities in the region. Prior to joining Actis, she led global business development and fundraising at CDIB Capital International and worked at GE Capital as a senior investment lead, focused on direct private equity investments.

In addition to over ten years of private equity experience, earlier in her career, Ms. Fang held various senior roles focused on business development, mergers and acquisitions, debt structuring, and sales at Morgan Stanley and Barclays Capital. She holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
