Raul Fernandez is a Senior Advisor at General Atlantic, providing strategic support and advice to the firm’s investment teams and portfolio companies. Raul has more than three decades of executive experience helping scale innovative and fast-growing technology companies. Earlier in his career, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ObjectVideo, a leading developer of intelligent video surveillance software. Raul also founded Proxicom, which under his leadership evolved into a leading global provider of e-commerce solutions for Fortune 500 companies before going public in 1999. In addition to his role at General Atlantic, Raul is also Vice Chairman and Owner of Monumental Sports & Entertainment, a private partnership which owns Washington, DC sports franchises including the Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals, Washington Mystics, and Wizards District Gaming NBA 2K team, and which also owns and operates the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.
