Varun Bahri joined General Atlantic Strategic Capital Fund (fka Iron Park Capital) in 2020 as a Principal. Mr. Bahri was the first employee in IPC’s London office. Prior to IPC, Mr. Bahri was a founding member of the Private Credit Group at GIC, where he helped create a global direct private credit platform. In his role at GIC, Mr. Bahri lead the origination and execution of senior and junior credit investments across North America and Europe. Mr. Bahri also represented GIC as a board observer on portfolio companies. Previously, Mr. Bahri worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Bahri graduated as an engineer and later received his MBA (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Prior to business school, he was also a PG researcher at Imperial College London.
