Prior to joining General Atlantic, Tom was a Senior Accountant with Deloitte, where he primarily served clients in the financial services industry.

Pedro Parente is Chairman of Brazil at General Atlantic and works closely with the Latin American investment team to support its portfolio companies in the country to scale and grow both regionally and internationally.

Pedro was formerly the Chairman and CEO of a leading food company, BRF. Prior to his tenure at BRF, Pedro Parente served as CEO or in other leadership roles at organizations including Petrobras, PRADA Financial Advisory Group, Bunge Brasil and Group RBS. Before his business career, Mr. Parente held several leadership roles in the Brazilian government, including Minister of Planning, Energy and Mining, and Chief of Staff during President Fernando Henrique Cardoso’s term.Pedro has been honored with both civil and military national decorations from Brazil.

He is currently President Commissioner of the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Senior Advisor of Crowe Horwath Indonesia. John has held a number of senior executive and leadership positions at corporations, government institutions, and leading business associations. He began his career as a Faculty Lecturer in Economics at the University of Indonesia.

Andy Slavitt

Before joining General Atlantic in 2017, Andy served as Acting Administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) under President Obama. In this role, he spearheaded programs that provided access to quality healthcare for 140 million Americans, including Medicaid, Medicare, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Health Insurance Marketplace. Previously, Andy worked at UnitedHealth Group, serving as the Group Executive Vice President for Optum, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, where he oversaw the delivery of clinical, technological, and operational solutions to healthcare clients and consumers from 2003 to 2013. Prior to this, he founded and served as CEO of HealthAllies, a venture backed technology-based consumer healthcare company, which he sold to UnitedHealth Group in 2003. Prior to HealthAllies, Andy was a consultant with McKinsey & Company and an investment banker with Goldman Sachs.

Dr. Michael Spence is a Senior Advisor at General Atlantic. His areas of focus include economic growth and policy in emerging markets, the influence of leadership on economic growth, and digitally enabled growth patterns.

Michael is a Nobel Laureate and serves as a co-chair with Joseph Stiglitz on the Commission on Global Economic Transformation; is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations; a Co-Chair of the Advisory Board of the Asia Global Institute in Hong Kong; and is a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He is also currently a professor of economics at New York University.  He is the author of The Next Convergence: The Future of Economic Growth in a Multispeed World.

From 2006 to 2010, Michael was the Chairman of The Commission on Growth and Development, an independent international body that analyzed opportunities for global economic growth. Michael is a Rhodes Scholar, and was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 2001 for his contributions to the analysis of markets with informational gaps and asymmetries, and the dynamics of information flow. Previously, Michael taught at Harvard University, where he served as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Stanford University, serving as Dean of the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

He currently serves as President of Decameron. Previously, Fabio served as an Advisor to the Luis Carlos Sarmiento Enterprise Organization, where he was responsible for the Colombian operations of Deutsche Bank and Rothschild Group, and worked for the Colombian National Association of Financial Institutions (ANIF). Throughout his career, he has also served in key public sector positions, including General Secretary of the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia and Minister of Government in Colombia.

Prior to this, David spent 22 years at Morgan Stanley where he served as Co-Head of U.S. Equity Capital Markets, Managing Director, and Chairman of the Equity Commitment Committee. Earlier in his career, he held several other senior management positions in Morgan Stanley’s Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, and Mergers & Acquisitions divisions.

Pierre started his career with Citibank in Zurich and later in New York.
