Michael Gosk
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Gosk is a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at General Atlantic, with principal responsibility for the firm’s finance, accounting, and investor reporting operations. Michael serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and oversees the firm’s global IT function. He also serves on the board of the General Atlantic Foundation, the firm’s philanthropic vehicle, and represents the firm on the board of Chariot Re, a leading global reinsurance business co-founded by General Atlantic and MetLife in 2025. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2019, Michael spent over a decade with General Electric in a series of financial leadership roles, most recently serving as Vice President and Chief Tax Officer. Before his time at GE, Michael was a partner at global law firm McDermott Will & Emery and a partner at KPMG.
