Josh Stabiner is a Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at General Atlantic and leads the firm’s cybersecurity efforts as part of the Information Technology team. Before joining General Atlantic in 2018, Josh was a Managing Director and Chief Information Security Officer at Pine River Capital Management where, from 2014 – 2018, he established and evolved a leading cybersecurity function. Prior to that, Josh spent 10 years at Ernst & Young where he led cyber threat management advisory services for financial sector clients with focuses on threat intelligence, vulnerability identification and remediation, security monitoring and analytics, incident management, and security engineering. From 2003 to 2004, Josh worked as a graduate student with the Institute for Security Technology Studies where he helped to design a cyber-war game for the US Department of Defense. Josh is CISSP certified.
