Anton Levy is the Chairman of Global Technology, Co-President and Managing Director at General Atlantic. He serves on the firm’s Executive and Investment Committees. In addition to the companies mentioned below, Anton has led General Atlantic’s investments in leading technology companies such as Alibaba, CrowdStrike, Facebook, Slack and Snapchat and co-led investments in Adyen and Bytedance. Anton has been named to the Forbes Midas List of top investors each year from 2014 to 2024. Before joining General Atlantic in 1998, Anton was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley where he focused on the technology sector.

Chris Caulkin is a Managing Director and Head of Technology for EMEA focusing on General Atlantic’s investments in the Technology sector. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2011, Chris was an Analyst and Associate at Warburg Pincus in London for four years where he concentrated on investments in the media, technology, and business services sectors. Before Warburg Pincus, Chris was an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group in London where he worked on a range of media, technology, and financial services projects.

Achim Berg is a Senior Advisor at General Atlantic, providing strategic support and advice to the firm’s EMEA investment team and portfolio companies. He also serves as President of BITKOM, Germany’s Federal Association of Information Technology, Telecommunications, and New Media. Before joining General Atlantic in 2016, Achim was Chief Executive Officer of arvato AG, a subsidiary of German media conglomerate Bertelsmann SE. Earlier in his career, he held a number of senior management positions at Microsoft, including Corporate Vice President of the Windows Phone division, General Manager of Microsoft Germany, and Area Vice President of Microsoft International. Prior to that, Achim served on the Executive Board of T-Com and worked at leading technology companies, including Fujitsu Siemens Computers GmbH, Dell Deutschland GmbH, and Bull AG.

Gabriel Caillaux is Global Head of Climate, Co-President, Managing Director and Head of General Atlantic’s business in EMEA. He is also a member of the firm’s Executive, Investment and Portfolio Committees. Since joining the firm in 2004, Gabriel has helped expand the firm’s investment focus across the greater European region to include Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He focuses on investments in the Financial Services and Technology sectors. Before joining General Atlantic, Gabriel worked in the telecoms, media & technology division at Merrill Lynch in London and New York.

Martín Escobari is Head of Global Growth Equity, Co-President, and Managing Director. Martín is Chairman of the firm’s Investment Committee and also serves on the Portfolio and Executive Committees.

Before joining General Atlantic in 2012, Martín was a Managing Director at Advent International where he focused on the financial services sector. Prior to that, he was Co-Founder and CFO of Submarino.com, a leading Brazilian online retailer that went public on the Bovespa and was sold to Lojas Americanas in 2006. Martin started his career as a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.

Preston McKenzie is an Operating Partner at General Atlantic, providing strategic support and advice to the firm’s investment teams and portfolio companies in the Technology sector. Before joining General Atlantic in 2017, Preston served as Chief Executive Officer of NEWSCYCLE Solutions, and prior to that was Chief Executive Officer of MicroEdge. Earlier in his career, he held various senior roles with what is now Thomson Reuters, including serving as Vice President and General Manager of Thomson’s Business Development division. Prior to that, Preston spent 10 years with Landmark Communications in leadership and business development roles.

Sandeep Naik is a Managing Director focused on General Atlantic’s business in India & Southeast Asia. Before joining General Atlantic in 2012, Sandeep served as a Partner and Co-Head of India for Apax, leading investments in the healthcare, financial and business services and retail and consumer sectors. Earlier in his career, he was Global Marketing Manager at Medtronic Inc., a scientist at Mayo Clinic, and a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. He is also the Co-Founder of InfraScan Inc., a medical device business focused on detecting bleeding inside the brain using a handheld device. Sandeep was selected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and has served on the Global Agenda Council of New Order of Economic Thinking.

Joern Nikolay is an Advisory Director at General Atlantic. Prior to becoming a Senior Advisor, Joern served as Managing Director and Head of DACH at General Atlantic since 2012, where he led General Atlantic’s business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland as part of the EMEA team. Before joining General Atlantic in 2008, Joern was an Associate at TA Associates in London. Prior to that, he was a Case Team Leader at Bain & Company in Düsseldorf, and an Analyst at Morgan Stanley in Frankfurt.

Gary Reiner is an Operating Partner at General Atlantic, providing strategic support and advice to the firm’s investment teams and portfolio companies with a focus on strategy and technology. Before joining General Atlantic in 2010, Gary was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of General Electric where he led the mergers & acquisitions, sourcing, IT, operations, and quality teams for the company. Prior to that, he was a Partner with The Boston Consulting Group where he led strategy and operational improvement for technology businesses.

Tanzeen Syed is a Managing Director and Head of General Atlantic’s Consumer Internet and Technology sector. He rejoined General Atlantic in 2018 after working at the firm from 2006 to 2013. Prior to rejoining General Atlantic, Tanzeen was a Director at Temasek, where he led U.S. technology growth investments, and prior to that, he was a Vice President at Great Hill Partners, where he focused on Internet and software growth investing.

Lu Wang is an Operating Partner at General Atlantic, providing strategic counsel to the firm’s investment team and portfolio companies with a focus on the internet, e-commerce, digital and technology sectors in China. Before joining General Atlantic in 2019, Lu was Vice President at Baidu, Inc. In this role, he oversaw the company’s strategic partnerships, marketing, public relations and government relations functions. Prior to Baidu, Lu was President and Chief Executive Officer at Walmart Global eCommerce in Asia, the company’s second-largest global e-commerce market. In this role, Mr. Wang led Walmart’s strategic investment in JD.com, acquisition of e-commerce platform Yihaodian and subsequent integration of the two companies. He also previously held executive leadership positions at CBS Interactive and Ziff Davis in Asia.

Eric Zhang is a Managing Director and Head of General Atlantic’s business in China. Before joining the firm in 2016, Eric was a Global Partner and Managing Director at The Carlyle Group from 2006 to 2016 where he focused on investments in Asia. Previously, he was Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions at Credit Suisse in Hong Kong, and prior to that, he was a Vice President in the Investment Banking division at China International Capital Corporation Limited in Beijing.

Luis Cervantes is a Managing Director and leads General Atlantic’s Mexico City office, focusing on the firm’s growth investments in Mexico and across Latin America. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2013, Luis was an Associate at Advent International where he concentrated on investments across sectors in Latin America. Previously, he was an Investment Banking Analyst at UBS in the Latin American group based in Mexico City. Luis is a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum, and is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. He also formerly served as an Adjunct Professor at Universidad Iberoamericana.

Josh Feldman is a Vice President at General Atlantic and focuses on investments in the Technology sector. Before joining General Atlantic in 2014, Josh was an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs in the financial institutions group.

Vinay Trivedi is a Vice President at General Atlantic and focuses on investments in the Technology sector. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2019, Vinay was at The Blackstone Group on the Private Equity Investment Team and at SoftBank Investment Advisers on the Vision Fund Investment Team. Vinay was also a Product Manager at Citymapper, an urban mobility startup backed by Benchmark Capital and Index Ventures. He is the author of How to Speak Tech, a technology education book (2nd ed., 2019).

Luiz Ribeiro is a Managing Director and Co-Head of General Atlantic’s Brazil Office. He also focuses on the firm’s investment activity in Colombia. Before joining General Atlantic in 2016, Luiz worked as a Director at Advent International where he concentrated on the financial services and healthcare sectors while based in the São Paulo and Bogota offices. During his time at Advent, he served on the boards of a number of investments, and served as Interim CFO of Atmosfera.

Sharad Bhojnagarwala is a Principal at General Atlantic and focuses on the firm’s investments in the India and Southeast Asia regions. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2011, Sharad was an Investment Professional at TVS Capital where he focused on investments in the mid-cap Consumer sector among others. Before that, he worked in technology roles at various companies in Boston, including EMC, Lucent Technologies, Trebia Networks, and ZipDiner.com.

Jessie Cai is a Principal at General Atlantic and focuses on investments in the Technology sector. She also helps co-lead the firm’s thematic sourcing program. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2018, Jessie was a Growth Equity Investment Associate at Summit Partners and a 2017 summer M.B.A. Intern at General Atlantic.  Before that, Jessie was an Investment Banking Analyst at Citigroup.

Roger Gao is a Managing Director at General Atlantic and focuses on investments in the firm’s Financial Services and Technology sectors in China. Before joining the firm in 2012, Roger was an Analyst in the Investment Banking division at Goldman Sachs based in Hong Kong where he focused on the consumer, retail, and healthcare sectors.

Asher Hecht is a Principal at General Atlantic focusing on investments in the Technology sector. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2017, Asher was a Senior Associate at Spectrum Equity, where he focused on growth equity investments in internet and software companies. Prior to that, Asher worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Allen & Company.

Tom Hussey is a Principal at General Atlantic and focuses on investments in the firm’s Technology sector in EMEA. Before joining General Atlantic in 2013, Tom worked in corporate development at 21st Century Fox where he covered media assets in EMEA. Previously, he was a Strategy Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group in London where he concentrated on private equity and technology, media & telecommunications.

Mike Drittel is a Vice President at General Atlantic and focuses on investments in the firm’s Technology sector. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2018, Mike was a Vice President at PJT Partners where he focused on the TMT sector. Mike began his career as an Analyst in J.P. Morgan’s M&A group.

Tina Hu is a Senior Associate at General Atlantic and focusing on Technology. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2019, Tina was a summer analyst at StepStone Group and focused on private equity.

Loek van den Boog is a Senior Advisor at General Atlantic and focuses on technology. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2019, Loek was the former Senior Vice President of EMEA for Oracle, as well as chairman of Mendix, Global Collect and Myriad. Loek leverages his software and technology expertise and expansive network to provide strategic support and advice to the firm’s investment teams and portfolio companies.

Although Loek van der Boog is a Senior Advisor, he is an employee of General Atlantic Cooperatief, U.A. and a portion of his salary and benefits may be reimbursed by General Atlantic’s investors and/or funds pursuant to the governing documents of those investment products or funds.

Dr. Judson Linville is a Senior Advisor at General Atlantic, bringing more than 30 years of international leadership experience at the intersection of financial services, technology, media, and marketing. Before joining General Atlantic in 2019, Dr. Linville was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Global Cards and Consumer Services at Citigroup, which he joined in 2010. While there, he led the largest global credit card franchise, representing $13 billion in revenue and 55 million individual and small business customers across 18 countries. He also ran digital, marketing, and data/analytics efforts across all of Citigroup’s consumer lines of business. Dr. Linville also served as a member of the Citigroup Operating Committee and the Citi Consumer Management Committee

Prior to Citigroup, Dr. Linville spent more than two decades at American Express, where he held leadership roles including President and CEO of Consumer Services, President of the U.S. Consumer Card Services Group, and President of Corporate Services. While at American Express, he led the Consumer Card, Membership Rewards, and Consumer Travel businesses in the U.S., as well as the Prepaid Card and Travelers Cheques businesses on a global basis, representing over 50% of the company’s earnings. He was also a member of the American Express Operating Committee, a six-person senior management team that set the strategic direction for the company alongside the CEO.

David Mangum is a Senior Advisor at General Atlantic; he brings significant expertise in global financial technology, payments solutions and software. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2019, David was President and Chief Operating Officer of Global Payments Inc. (GPN). David was instrumental in leading the transformation of Global Payments from a payment processor to a worldwide provider of technology services and software. Prior to that, David was GPN’s Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. David also previously held executive leadership roles at Fiserv, Inc. and CheckFree Corporation.
