Dr. Mohit Kaushal

Dr. Mohit Kaushal ×

Dr. Mohit Kaushal is a Senior Advisor at General Atlantic, providing strategic support and advice to the firm’s investment teams and portfolio companies in the Healthcare sector, drawing on his extensive career in investing, clinical medicine, academia, and public policy. Mohit served as a member of the White House Health IT task force during the Obama Administration and built and led the first dedicated healthcare team at the Federal Communications Commission. He serves on the Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act Workgroup of the Health IT Policy Committee and the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics, advising Health and Human Services on data access and use. Mohit is also an ER physician, an Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Data Science at Stanford University, and continues to be active within public policy as a Scholar in Residence at the newly created Duke Margolis Center for Health Policy. Earlier in his career, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Brookings Institution.

Dr. Judson Linville is a Senior Advisor at General Atlantic, bringing more than 30 years of international leadership experience at the intersection of financial services, technology, media, and marketing. Before joining General Atlantic in 2019, Dr. Linville was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Global Cards and Consumer Services at Citigroup, which he joined in 2010. While there, he led the largest global credit card franchise, representing $13 billion in revenue and 55 million individual and small business customers across 18 countries. He also ran digital, marketing, and data/analytics efforts across all of Citigroup’s consumer lines of business. Dr. Linville also served as a member of the Citigroup Operating Committee and the Citi Consumer Management Committee

Prior to Citigroup, Dr. Linville spent more than two decades at American Express, where he held leadership roles including President and CEO of Consumer Services, President of the U.S. Consumer Card Services Group, and President of Corporate Services. While at American Express, he led the Consumer Card, Membership Rewards, and Consumer Travel businesses in the U.S., as well as the Prepaid Card and Travelers Cheques businesses on a global basis, representing over 50% of the company’s earnings. He was also a member of the American Express Operating Committee, a six-person senior management team that set the strategic direction for the company alongside the CEO.

Prior to Alnylam, Dr. Maraganore served as an officer and a member of the management team for Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. As Senior Vice President, Strategic Product Development for Millennium, he was responsible for the company’s product franchises in oncology, and cardiovascular, inflammatory, and metabolic diseases. He was previously Vice President, Strategic Planning and M&A and, prior to that, he was General Manager of Millennium BioTherapeutics, Inc., a former subsidiary of Millennium. Before Millennium, he served as Director of Molecular Biology and Director of Market and Business Development at Biogen, Inc. At Biogen, Dr. Maraganore invented and led the discovery and development of ANGIOMAX® (bivalirudin) for injection, formerly HIRULOGTM and currently marketed by The Medicines Company. Prior to Biogen, Dr. Maraganore was a scientist at ZymoGenetics, Inc., and the Upjohn Company.

Pedro was formerly the Chairman and CEO of a leading food company, BRF. Prior to his tenure at BRF, Pedro Parente served as CEO or in other leadership roles at organizations including Petrobras, PRADA Financial Advisory Group, Bunge Brasil and Group RBS. Before his business career, Mr. Parente held several leadership roles in the Brazilian government, including Minister of Planning, Energy and Mining, and Chief of Staff during President Fernando Henrique Cardoso’s term.Pedro has been honored with both civil and military national decorations from Brazil.

Prior to this, he founded and served as CEO of HealthAllies, a venture backed technology-based consumer healthcare company, which he sold to UnitedHealth Group in 2003. Prior to HealthAllies, Andy was a consultant with McKinsey & Company and an investment banker with Goldman Sachs.

Michael is a Nobel Laureate and serves as a co-chair with Joseph Stiglitz on the Commission on Global Economic Transformation; is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations; a Co-Chair of the Advisory Board of the Asia Global Institute in Hong Kong; and is a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He is also currently a professor of economics at New York University.  He is the author of The Next Convergence: The Future of Economic Growth in a Multispeed World.

From 2006 to 2010, Michael was the Chairman of The Commission on Growth and Development, an independent international body that analyzed opportunities for global economic growth. Michael is a Rhodes Scholar, and was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 2001 for his contributions to the analysis of markets with informational gaps and asymmetries, and the dynamics of information flow. Previously, Michael taught at Harvard University, where he served as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Stanford University, serving as Dean of the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

He currently serves as President of Decameron. Previously, Fabio served as an Advisor to the Luis Carlos Sarmiento Enterprise Organization, where he was responsible for the Colombian operations of Deutsche Bank and Rothschild Group, and worked for the Colombian National Association of Financial Institutions (ANIF). Throughout his career, he has also served in key public sector positions, including General Secretary of the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia and Minister of Government in Colombia.
