Explore what’s possible at General Atlantic. We recruit across Investment Areas, Capital Solutions, Value Creation, and Business Operations – empowering the next generation of talent to help us power visionary growth.

Experiences based on your stage of career

MBAs bring strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a broad business perspective that enhance investment diligence as well as value creation within GA portfolio companies.

Full-time MBAs join as Vice Presidents, building and owning relationships with founders and companies, which are critical to GA’s investment success.

Applications & Interviewing: We recruit MBA talent globally, with on-campus engagement typically taking place in the fall, aligned with each university’s recruitment calendar. During recruitment season, please visit our Open Roles page or the 12Twenty platform to apply.

The General Atlantic Associate Program is a structured, two-year experience designed to build core skills and exposure across the business.

Associates evaluate companies across early stage, late stage, leveraged buyouts, publics, and support portfolio initiatives. The program refines investment analysis skills and builds a stronger foundation and breadth of ability.

High-performing individuals may be considered for longer-term opportunities within the firm. If you are interested in being considered for future opportunities, we encourage you to submit your resume through the GA Talent Bank to stay connected.

General Atlantic hires undergraduate students across all business functions – Investment Areas, Value Creation, Capital Solutions, and Business Operations in both the US and the UK.

Undergraduate talent brings fresh perspectives and drives innovation. GA’s investment in early-career professionals across our US and UK offices is critical in building future leaders and achieving long-term goals.

Analyst programs are generally two years, with the ability to be considered for future roles at GA.

Full-time hiring can happen throughout the year, while applications for internship experiences generally open in the fall and spring. Please check back for updates or join the GA Talent Community to receive relevant communications.

General Atlantic recruits Analyst and Associate talent across all business areas — Investment Areas, Value Creation, Capital Solutions, and Business Operations to support our mission of partnering with high-growth companies around the world.

With a strong global presence spanning key financial and innovation hubs, our teams collaborate across regions and sectors to identify opportunities, share insights, and deliver lasting impact. This connected network allows employees to contribute to initiatives that reach far beyond their local markets.

Outside of the US, we welcome interest from Analysts with approximately 1–3 years of professional experience and Associates with around 3–5 years of experience, depending on role requirements and market needs. Hiring for these positions takes place on an ad hoc basis, as opportunities arise throughout the year.

Because openings are not always active year-round, we encourage interested candidates to join the GA Talent Bank to share their background and be considered for future opportunities as they become available.
