Graves Tompkins Managing Director and Global Head of Capital Partnering

Graves Tompkins is a Managing Director and Global Head of Capital Partnering for General Atlantic. He serves on the firm’s Executive and Human Resources Committees, and he is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, and General Atlantic Foundation activities. Previously, he has worked on the Business Services, Healthcare, and Financial Services sector teams. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2007, Graves worked in the Merchant Banking division at Goldman Sachs where he focused on principal investments across a broad range of sectors, and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. Graves is a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum, and he was previously the founding co-chair of the Alumni Council at Harvard’s Center for Public Leadership, a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a David Rockefeller Fellow.
