John Toriello

John Toriello is a Managing Director at General Atlantic and Global Head of Portfolio Management for the firm’s Growth Equity strategy. John is responsible for monitoring portfolio company fundamental performance, liquidity planning and the due diligence process for Growth Equity investments. He is a member of the Growth Equity Portfolio Committee, the firm-wide Valuation Committee and the Board of Directors for Sierra Space.

Before joining General Atlantic in 2021, John was a Managing Director at Blackstone and held a variety of roles in the corporate finance function, as well as supporting investment professionals and portfolio companies on finance matters. Prior to Blackstone, John was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers advising on acquisitions, divestitures and capital markets transactions.
